The guarantee comes with the UCAT Pass. During onboarding you sit a short diagnostic that sets your baseline, and we lock a guaranteed target from it. Follow your personalised plan (around 80% completion, including timed sections spread across your prep), sit the official UCAT this cycle, and if your score comes in below your locked target, your next year of MasterMed is free. When you sign up you get 4 free practice sessions (one for each UCAT section) over 7 days, no payment method required. The trial never converts to a paid plan automatically: there is nothing to cancel and you will never be charged unless you choose to upgrade.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, the price difference is prorated. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the next billing cycle.
